About DDM Sai College

The DDM Sai College was established in 2003. It is affiliated with H.P. University, Shimla, and approved by the Bar Council of India. LLB (3 years) course was started in 2008. Later B.A.LLB (5 years) course was started in 2013. The intake capacity in LLB 3 years & B.A. LLB 5 years is 60 each. DDM Sai Law College believes in developing the personality and creativity of students rather than merely communicating factual knowledge of course contents to them. It is located at a distance of about 1 Km from Shimla-Dharamshala National Highway 88, the college has a serene environment with wide open spaces around it, abutting it by a road with vast open space and tree groves around.

The institution is well-equipped with conducive infrastructural facilities like the Seminar Hall, spacious classrooms and playgrounds, and well-equipped laboratories and libraries. There is a provision of a hostel for girl students and a canteen is functional on the campus. The co-curricular activities are an integral part of education. Inter-house competitions are held in literary and cultural activities as well as inviting guest speakers for talk, holding of extension lectures, legal awareness programs, free medical camps, and educational tours as a regular feature that strives to widen the intellectual horizon of the students. It has a healthy environment that is conducive to promoting academic work all year through.

About the Founder

Late Sh. Dwarka Dass Ji was a well-known philanthropist and social worker in Kallar, Nadaun, Himachal Pradesh. He was deeply committed to the cause of education and helping the needy. In order to continue his work, the Sai Society of Education was set up in his memory. The college is currently one of the leading educational institutes in the region.

Our Vision

The vision of the college is to provide quality education. We believe that a student must go through the process of not just acquiring knowledge but also developing themselves in various ways. Quality education is the most important factor for preparing students for different careers and inculcation of high moral values in them is one more way to change their lives for the better. The college is situated in a very convenient location and has a huge campus that is well-equipped with all facilities. We have our own infrastructural facilities like classrooms, labs, playgrounds, etc. For the students who are looking for accommodation near the college, we have hostels as well.

The DDM Sai College is located approximately 1 kilometer from the Shimla-Dharamshala National Highway-88, in a pollution-free area with a great academic environment. It is situated in the Shiwalik area near the Maan rivulet, a tributary of the Beas river.

The DDM Sai College offers four courses: a Bachelor of Education, a Diploma in Elementary Education, a Bachelor of Legislative Law (3 years), and a Bachelor of Legislative Law (5 years).
