Return and Refund Policy
LaRefund Policy (Academic Session 2024–2025)
As per the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) (Ref: No.F.2-71/2022(CPP-II), dated 12/06/2024), and as approved by the Vice Chancellor of the University (U.O.No. 10499/2024/Admn, dated 01/07/2024), the following refund policy shall be implemented for student admissions and fee refunds for the academic session 2024–2025.
1. Full Fee Refund Timeline
- Full refund of fees shall be granted for all cancellations or student migrations up to 30th September 2024, without any deductions.
- A deduction of not more than ₹1,000 shall apply as a processing fee for cancellations up to 31st October 2024.
- If approved, the refunds will be credited to the source account within 5-7 business days
2. Refund Structure After 31st October 2024
For withdrawals made beyond 31st October 2024, the following UGC-approved structure will apply:
| Time of Cancellation | Refund Amount |
| 15 days or more before the last date of admission | 100% |
| Less than 15 days before the last date of admission | 90% |
| Up to 15 days after the last date of admission | 80% |
| 30 days or less, but more than 15 days after the last date of admission | 50% |
| More than 30 days after the last date of admission | 0% (No refund) |
Note: Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of approval.
3. Terms & Conditions
- All original documents will be returned at the time of withdrawal.
- The refund process will strictly follow UGC Notification (October 2018) and its latest amendments.
- Students are advised to submit a written request along with relevant documents to initiate the refund.
4. Policy Validity
This refund policy will remain in force for the academic year 2024–2025 and future sessions unless updated or superseded by a new UGC directive.
