DDM Sai College Services and Facilities

Since 2003, D.D.M. Sai College has been affiliated with H. P. University, Shimla, and is recognized by NCTE. We also have an affiliation with the H.P. Board of School Education, with a B.Ed and JBT course that started in 2007 with an intake of 100 students for each course.

D.D.M Sai College is equipped with modern facilities such as Smart Boards, computer labs, spacious classrooms with hi-speed internet connectivity, Wi-Fi Campus, etc. The college also offers a conducive physical environment with lush green surroundings and ample space for outdoor activities, sports, etc.

1. Library cum Reading Room

College Library is fully computerized with INFLIBINET software version 2.0. In the college library, there are more than 11,000 books apart from 17 journals,07 magazines, and surveys, etc. It is equipped with furniture and fixture, 3 computer systems with broadband connection. It can accommodate 150 students at a time.

2. Prizes and Scholarships

1. Dwarka Dass Memorial Merit Scholarship of Rs. 5000/- as cash will be given to the students of the college Who stand First in the University Examination
2. Academic Prizes will be given based on two House Examinations
3. Y.S. Parmar Memorial Prize for the best orator.
4. Sports Prizes
5. Scholarship for Meritorious low-income group students.

6. Sports

Students are being provided with ample opportunities for sports and games. The college has a 1,000 square meter meters area of ground in which two courts one each for badminton and volleyball are demarcated. The facilities for indoor games like Chess, Carom Board, and Table Tennis are also provided to the students. From time to time, the college organizes inter-house & inter-college competitions.

No Transportation Facility is provided by the college.

8. Curriculum Laboratory

Curriculum laboratories have been set up for Psychology, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Language, Social Science and Mathematics as per the NCTE norms.

In the college, there is a sick room, where those students who have some physical problem can take a rest.

12. Photostate

Photostat facility is available in the college library and also in the office.

13. Postal Services

Letters addressed to the students are delivered through the office. Letters of the boarders are delivered through the hostel warden.

14. Telephone

No incoming call except in very emergent circumstances is attended by the office on behalf of the students.

15. Canteen

The canteen facility is available for day scholars as well as hostlers on the college campus.

17. Legal Aid Clinic

Legal Aid Clinic was established in DDM Sai Law College on 9th August 2010. Since its inception, it is providing legal services to the poor, marginalized, and weaker section of society. The Clinic aims at providing inexpensive local machinery for rendering legal services of basic nature like legal advice, drafting of petitions, notices, replies, applications, and other documents of legal importance and also for resolving the disputes of the local people by making the parties to see reason and thereby preventing the disputes reaching courts.

18. Infrastructure (Law)

There are 8 Classrooms with 1 Smart Classroom. There is a 1 Moot Court Room.
College Library is fully computerized with INFLIBINET software version 2.0. The database of Supreme Court And High Court Cases has been accessed online through Supreme Today. In the college library, there are more than 3,023 books apart from 10 journals, 04 magazines, etc. It is equipped with furniture and fixture, a 02 computer system with broadband connection. It can accommodate 80 students at a time.
